In 2020 the Research Group Bioinstrumentation and Clinical Engineering will be consolidated as the main research group in biomedical engineering from the Antioquia region in the fields of biomedical signal processing and medical imaging, clinical engineering, biomechanics and biomedical instrumentation, supporting programs undergraduate, master's and doctorate in Bioengineering.
